Today, HAWA Multicultural Services was pleased to attend the annual VCFSE Conference, hosted by Hertfordshire County Council at the Fielder Centre in Hatfield.
Representing HAWA, Co-Director Rushna Miah joined community organisations, voluntary and social enterprise leaders, partners and colleagues from across Hertfordshire for a day focused on celebrating our communities, strengthening partnerships, sharing knowledge and looking ahead to the future.
The conference provided a valuable opportunity to connect, network and hear about the changes taking place across Hertfordshire, as well as the steps being taken to strengthen collaboration between the Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector and public services.
We heard from a fantastic line-up of keynote speakers, including representatives from NCVO, Hertfordshire County Council’s Chief Executive and other sector leaders, who shared their insights, experiences and vision for the future.
The afternoon continued with a range of informative and engaging workshops, giving attendees the opportunity to explore key issues in greater depth, share experiences and consider how we can work together to create meaningful change.
It was a very well-attended and successful event, bringing together people and organisations with a shared commitment to improving lives and strengthening communities across Hertfordshire.
At HAWA, we value these opportunities to listen, learn, build relationships and ensure the voices and experiences of our diverse communities are represented.
A great day of collaboration, connection, learning and looking ahead. 💜
