The Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire , hosted a powerful and inspiring interfaith gathering today as part of the Lord-Lieutenantโ€™s Herts Together initiative.

The event brought together people from diverse faiths, cultures and communities across Hertfordshire to stand in solidarity, promote peace and strengthen unity within our communities. The atmosphere throughout the event reflected compassion, togetherness and a shared commitment to ensuring Hertfordshire remains a place where diversity is celebrated and communities stand united.


The gathering was extremely well attended, with representation from a wide range of faiths, community organisations and leaders from across the county. A strong message echoed throughout the event โ€” Hertfordshire will not be divided, and together we stand in unity, respect and peace.

 


Rushna Miah, Director of HAWA Multicultural Services attended the event to support the interfaith gathering alongside Deputy Lieutenants, councillors, as well as community and faith leaders from across Hertfordshire.
The evening highlighted the importance of dialogue, inclusion and collective action in building stronger, safer and more connected communities for everyone.๐Ÿ’™ Together we are stronger. Together we stand for peace.
