Gym and Fitness club
HAWA’s women-only gym, fitness, and sports sessions, funded by “Sports England”, promote overall health and well-being. The program aims to reduce health inequalities and provide a culturally appropriate environment for women from diverse communities. It helps reduce anxiety and depression and releases feel-good hormones, giving women a sense of belonging, confidence, and “Me Time.” The program also improves flexibility, strength, health, and sleep, helping women suffering from menopause, diabetes, high blood pressure, joint pains, and arthritis. The sessions have been found to reduce stress among attendees significantly.
