Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome Laila Barkat from the Labour and Delivery Hospital in Luton to the Day Centre as part of the hospital’s appeal for knitted hat donations. She came to collect the beautiful hats our ladies have been knitting for newborn babies in special care.
The amber hats will help staff quickly identify babies who need extra care. Our members feel proud, happy, and fulfilled, knowing they have spent their time on a worthwhile cause and taken part in such a meaningful project.
