On the 15th of July, we had the pleasure of attending the HAWA Multicultural Services Community Day in New Greens, hosted by St Albans City & District Council.

It was a fantastic opportunity to meet local residents, listen to their experiences, and share the wide range of support and services HAWA provides within the community. Events like these are invaluable for building relationships, encouraging meaningful conversations, and strengthening connections with the people we serve.

One of the highlights of the day was visiting our thriving community garden, which is full of cucumbers, lettuce, tomatoes, pumpkins, runner beans, and many other fresh fruits and vegetables. The garden is a wonderful example of how community projects can promote sustainability, healthy living, and bring people together through shared learning and teamwork.

Thank you to St Albans City & District Council for organising such a welcoming event, and to everyone who stopped by to chat. We always enjoy supporting initiatives that create stronger, more connected communities and look forward to attending more events like this in the future.
