Habiba Garden Update! π»π
π«
Another fantastic day at Habiba Garden! The sunshine was out, the watering cans were full, and there was plenty happening around the garden. βοΈπ
This week we’ve been busy: π³ Planting a beautiful pomegranate tree π« Adding a lovely olive tree π» Planting vibrant sunflowers that will brighten the garden in the weeks ahead π± Feeding our plants with chicken manure pellets to give them a healthy boost π§ Watering our vegetables and making sure everything stays healthy and hydrated
We’re also exploring more sustainable ways to care for the garden. One of the methods we’re trying is reusing plastic bottles as slow-release watering systems. By filling the bottles with water and placing them in the soil next to our plants, the water is released gradually to the roots. This simple idea helps reduce water waste, keeps the soil moist for longer, and gives a second life to plastic bottles that might otherwise be thrown away. β»οΈπ§
It’s amazing to see how much the garden is growing. From flourishing vegetable beds to newly planted trees and colourful flowers, every visit brings something new to enjoy.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along to help. Whether you were planting, watering, digging, or simply cheering everyone on, you all played a part in making Habiba Garden thrive. πΏ
We can’t wait to watch our new trees and sunflowers growβand, of course, to share more updates with you soon!
Stay tuned for more gardening adventures! πΌπΏπ
